The Xmas Countdown Calendar was a promotional campaign to increase page impressions on the MSN portal over the Christmas period.
Every day the user could go to the site and open a new 'window', just like an advent calendar. It played a short animation, suggested some valuable xmas tips and gave you the chance to win prizes if you registered!
